
Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry
A quick and easy stir-fry recipe using expired hot sauce to add a kick of heat. The hot sauce is safe to consume and enhances the flavors of the dish.

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons expired hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the expired hot sauce and soy sauce together. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken slices and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour in the hot sauce mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the spicy chicken stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
