Ingredients
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons expired butter-flavored pancake syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the popcorn kernels.
- Cover the pot with a lid and shake it occasionally until the popping slows down.
- Remove the pot from heat and let it sit for a minute to ensure all popping has stopped.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and expired butter-flavored pancake syrup over low heat, stirring until well combined.
- Pour the butter syrup mixture over the popcorn and toss gently to coat all the kernels.
- Sprinkle with salt to taste and toss again.
- Allow the glazed popcorn to cool completely before serving.
- Store in an airtight container.
