Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons expired hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix the expired hot sauce and soy sauce together. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken slices and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour in the hot sauce mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken and vegetables.
