
Spicy Ketchup Chicken Skewers
These flavorful chicken skewers are marinated in a spicy ketchup sauce made with expired ketchup. The ketchup is safe to consume as long as it is unopened and stored properly.

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup expired ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the expired ketchup, soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, vegetable oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix until well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
