
Spicy Hot Pepper Sauce Chicken Stir-Fry
A fiery and flavorful chicken stir-fry made with slightly expired hot pepper sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (commercially bottled, opened, slightly expired)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return cooked chicken to the pan and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir well to coat everything.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
- Serve the spicy hot pepper sauce chicken stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
