
Cheesy Vegetable Quiche
A delicious quiche that makes use of expired Edam cheese while ensuring food safety.

Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup expired Block Edam Cheese, grated
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and mushrooms), chopped
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté the mixed vegetables until tender. Set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the sautéed vegetables evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables.
- Sprinkle the grated Edam cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
