- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon expired cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and expired cinnamon powder.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for approximately 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
