- Baguette slices
- 1 cup expired blue cheese crumbles
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, until lightly golden.
- In a small bowl, mix the expired blue cheese crumbles with honey until well combined.
- Spread the blue cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Top each crostini with a few slices of pear.
- Place the crostini back in the oven for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the pears are slightly softened.
- Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve warm.
