
Creamy Rice Pudding

- 1 cup rice
- 4 cups expired milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the rice to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the rice under cold water.
- In the same saucepan, combine the cooked rice and expired milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer the mixture for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let the pudding cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm or chilled, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
