Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 expired isotonic hydration tablet (still safe to consume)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and the expired isotonic hydration tablet.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.
- Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
