Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 expired isotonic hydration tablet (still safe to consume)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and the expired isotonic hydration tablet.

Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Take small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.

Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.
