Ingredients
- 2 cups expired white bread, sliced and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the croutons are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
- Allow the croutons to cool completely before using or storing in an airtight container.
