  • 2 cups of Basmati rice

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the Basmati rice and cook according to the package instructions. Once cooked, spread the rice out on a flat surface to cool and dry.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
  4. Add the onion, carrots, bell pepper, and garlic to the pan. Stir fry until the vegetables are tender.
