Ingredients
- 2 cups of Basmati rice
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Instructions

Rinse the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the Basmati rice and cook according to the package instructions. Once cooked, spread the rice out on a flat surface to cool and dry.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.

Add the onion, carrots, bell pepper, and garlic to the pan. Stir fry until the vegetables are tender.

Add the cooled Basmati rice, soy sauce, curry powder, salt, and pepper to the pan. Stir fry for another 5 minutes until the rice is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
