Ingredients
- 1 expired but safe to consume smoked duck breast
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove the expired smoked duck breast from its packaging and discard any visible spoilage.
- Slice the duck breast into thin strips.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the vinaigrette.
- Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
- Divide the salad onto plates and top with the sliced smoked duck breast.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
