Ingredients
- 8 large mushrooms
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set aside. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine the grated cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese and bacon mixture.
- Finely chop the reserved mushroom stems and sprinkle them over the stuffed mushrooms.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
