Ingredients

  • 8 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set aside. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet.

In a bowl, combine the grated cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese and bacon mixture.

Finely chop the reserved mushroom stems and sprinkle them over the stuffed mushrooms.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
