Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons expired Butterfly Pea Flower Tea
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the expired Butterfly Pea Flower Tea to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea to remove the tea leaves.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and granulated sugar.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices.
