Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup expired eggnog
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the expired eggnog, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Place the bread slices into the eggnog mixture, allowing them to soak for a minute on each side.
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Transfer the soaked bread slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Serve the eggnog French toast with maple syrup.
