Ingredients
- 2 cups shallots, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the shallots and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the caramelized shallots. Toss well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
