
Cabbage Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 head of common cabbage
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add julienned carrots and sliced red bell pepper, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables start to soften.
- Add the sliced cabbage and stir-fry for another 4-5 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the stir-fried cabbage and toss well to coat.
- Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
