Ingredients
- 2 cups slightly expired medlar fruits
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- 1. Wash the medlar fruits and remove any seeds or stems.
- 2. In a saucepan, combine the medlar fruits, sugar, and lemon juice.
- 3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruits break down and the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency (about 30 minutes).
- 4. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 5. Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
