Ingredients
- 4 expired flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush both sides of the expired flour tortillas with olive oil.
- Stack the tortillas and cut them into triangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Spread the tortilla triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the tortilla triangles.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tortilla chips are golden and crispy.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese over the tortilla chips.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the cheesy tortilla chips cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy as a snack or serve with salsa, guacamole, or your favorite dip.
