
Cheesy Tortilla Chips
Make delicious and crispy tortilla chips using expired flour tortillas.
Ingredients
- 4 expired flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your choice)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush both sides of the expired flour tortillas with olive oil.
Stack the tortillas and cut them into triangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Spread the tortilla triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the tortilla triangles.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tortilla chips are golden and crispy.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese over the tortilla chips.
Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the cheesy tortilla chips cool slightly before serving.
Enjoy as a snack or serve with salsa, guacamole, or your favorite dip.
