Ingredients
- 1 can of beef stew
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pour the canned beef stew into a baking dish.
- Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper to the pot with the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef stew in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are golden and the stew is bubbling.
