Ingredients
- 200g expired basil leaves

Instructions
- In a food processor, add the expired basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Pulse until well combined.
- While the food processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Season the pesto with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Stir in the basil pesto, adding a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
