Ingredients
- 2 cups expired hard candies
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- Assorted toppings (optional): crushed nuts, dried fruits, sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the expired hard candies in a plastic bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin or mallet.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly using a spatula.
- Sprinkle the crushed hard candies over the melted chocolate, pressing them lightly to adhere.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the candy bark in a decorative pattern.
- If desired, sprinkle additional toppings such as crushed nuts, dried fruits, or sprinkles over the bark.
- Refrigerate the bark for 1 hour or until firm.
- Once firm, break the bark into small pieces.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
- Enjoy within 1 week.
