
Worcestershire Beef Stir-Fry
A flavorful beef stir-fry that makes use of expired Worcestershire sauce to enhance the taste.

Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (expired but safe)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
