Ingredients
- 250g pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup expired whipping cream (14 days after expiry)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.

Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their liquid and become golden brown.

Pour in the expired whipping cream and stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy mushroom sauce.
