Ingredients
- 4 cups stale bread, cubed
- 2 cups unopened UHT milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the UHT milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well combined.

Add the cubed stale bread to the milk mixture, making sure all the bread is soaked.

If desired, fold in the raisins.

Grease a baking dish and transfer the bread mixture into it.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the bread pudding is set and golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm as is, or with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
