
Epoisses and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast
A flavorful chicken dish stuffed with expired Epoisses De Bourgogne and spinach, ensuring food safety.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 100g expired Epoisses De Bourgogne, rind removed
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast, being careful not to cut through the other side.
Combine the expired Epoisses De Bourgogne and chopped spinach in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Stuff each chicken breast with the Epoisses De Bourgogne and spinach mixture.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
