Ingredients
- 1 expired baguette (2 days past expiration)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the expired baguette in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, softened butter, chopped parsley, and salt.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.
- Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the garlic butter is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Slice into pieces and serve as a side dish or appetizer.
