Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 expired but still firm apple, grated
  • Optional toppings: sliced almonds, raisins, additional grated apple

Instructions

In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to combine.

Cover the jar/container with a lid and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours.
