Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (expired but safe)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
