Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cubed expired white bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the milk, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.

Add the cubed expired white bread and raisins (if using) to the milk mixture. Stir gently until all the bread cubes are coated.

Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes, allowing the bread to soak up the liquid.
