  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 200g unopened packaged Edam cheese, slightly past expiration
  • 2-3 fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Place the sliced tomatoes on the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges.

Grate the unopened packaged Edam cheese over the tomatoes.

Drizzle the olive oil over the cheese and tomatoes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
