Ingredients

  • 8 large mushrooms
  • 150g unopened packaged Edam cheese
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set aside. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet.

In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped parsley, bread crumbs, and olive oil. Mix well.

Fill each mushroom cap with the Edam cheese, followed by the bread crumb mixture.

Place the reserved mushroom stems on top of each filled mushroom cap.

Season with salt and pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms are tender.
