Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup slightly expired but safe Tepache
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together the Tepache, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the Tepache mixture over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through and the glaze has caramelized.
