  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1/4 cup of slightly expired soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped green onions

1. Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture.

2. In a bowl, whisk together the slightly expired soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

3. Cut the pressed tofu into cubes and place them in a shallow dish.

4. Pour the marinade over the tofu, making sure each piece is coated.

5. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
