
Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders
Tender chicken tenders coated with expired shelled almonds for a crispy and flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup expired shelled almonds, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, combine the expired shelled almonds, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the almond mixture.
Place the coated chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Serve the almond crusted chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce.
Note: Ensure the chicken is fully cooked by checking the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Discard any leftovers after 3 days.
