Cook the expired spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over low heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic and chili flakes.

Cook the garlic and chili flakes in the olive oil, stirring occasionally, until the garlic turns golden brown. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until it is coated evenly with the garlic-infused olive oil.

Season with salt to taste.
