Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz slightly expired opened packaged mozzarella, cut into small cubes
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a meatball. Repeat with the remaining meat mixture and mozzarella cubes.

Place the meatballs in a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and gooey.

Serve the mozzarella stuffed meatballs with additional marinara sauce on the side.
