Ingredients

  • 2 cups slightly past expiration Nut Bread Freshly Baked, cubed
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until they begin to soften.

Add the walnuts and dried cranberries to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.

Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the mixture to a large bowl.

Add the cubed Nut Bread Freshly Baked to the bowl, followed by the vegetable broth, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

Transfer the stuffing mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
