Moringa Powder Pancakes
These fluffy pancakes are a delicious way to use up slightly expired Moringa Powder while reducing food waste. Enjoy them for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Moringa Powder (slightly expired but safe to consume)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and Moringa Powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with butter or cooking spray.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter.
Serve the Moringa Powder pancakes warm with maple syrup.
