- 4 cups rice cereal
- 4 cups expired marshmallows (365 days after expiry)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the expired marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.

Add the rice cereal and gently stir until well coated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly with greased hands or a greased spatula.
