Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp expired malt powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, expired malt powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
