Italian Dressing Marinated Chicken
Tender and flavorful chicken marinated in expired Italian salad dressing, ensuring food safety.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing (expired but safe to consume)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together the expired Italian salad dressing, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.
Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off, and discard the remaining marinade.
Grill or cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the Italian dressing marinated chicken with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
