Ingredients

  • Baguette, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 cup Ikura salmon roe (expired but safe)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, until crisp.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice.

Top each slice with a spoonful of Ikura salmon roe.
