
Ice Cream Bread Pudding
A rich and indulgent dessert made with slightly expired ice cream, perfect for using up leftovers.
Ingredients
- 2 cups slightly expired Ice Cream Commercially Frozen All Flavors Including Vanilla Chocolate Strawberry Coffee Butter Pecan Opened Package
- 4 cups day-old bread, torn into pieces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the slightly expired ice cream and milk. Stir until well combined and the ice cream has melted.
Add the torn bread pieces to the bowl and let them soak for 10 minutes, until they have absorbed the liquid.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and ice cream mixture. Stir gently to combine.
Pour the melted butter into a baking dish and spread it evenly across the bottom.
Transfer the bread pudding mixture into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm and enjoy!
