
Pizza Quesadillas
Turn expired frozen pizza into flavorful quesadillas that are perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 expired frozen pizza
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Thaw the expired frozen pizza in the refrigerator overnight.
Remove the toppings from the pizza and set aside.
Cut the pizza crust into tortilla-sized rounds.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Place one pizza crust round in the skillet and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Top with bell peppers, black olives, red onions, and fresh basil.
Place another pizza crust round on top to form a sandwich.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, then carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
Repeat with the remaining pizza crust rounds and toppings.
Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
